TRMG’s new vendor support services are an immediate hit

As we enter 2008, TRMG has moved beyond providing consulting & training in the fraud and revenue assurance domains into the provision of expert hands-on technical delivery services for product vendors. A major FMS and RA vendor is the first client to take up this offering, awarding TRMG a contract to perform key parts of the delivery of that company’s fraud management application at a key customer site in West Africa. We have already deployed staff to the site for the initial scoping phase of this project and we are now deploying additional technical experts to help install and configure the FMS tool over the coming months.

TRMG Chairman Mark Johnson said, “This move into the technical delivery of specialist products reflects three things; the importance of genuine domain knowledge during application delivery; the scarcity of such skills in the wider industry today, and; TRMG’s increasingly prominent position as one of the only credible impartial and independent suppliers of a range of revenue risk management skills and services.”

TRMG grabs media attention

TRMG recently completed a report on the potential for fraud, money laundering and other online crimes within the emerging ‘Virtual Community’ model used by sites such as Second Life. Our report has generated a great deal of interest, resulting in a request for training support from the EU Commission and Europol, as well as a number of interviews by news agencies, including The Sunday Times, Reuters and Sky News. EU Commission Selects TRMG

The EU Commission and Europol have jointly selected The Risk Management Group to deliver specialist training on the subject of emerging money laundering and other cyber-crime issues in virtual online communities. The EU/Europol programme is directed at new and prospective EU member states. The first event in which TRMG participated was recently held in Turkey and the 80 attendees were drawn from the Turkish Ministry of Finance, the border police and the banking sector. A second event takes place in Bulgaria at the end of June, involving participants from several countries. A further series of events will take place at other sites across the EU.

Subex Azure selects TRMG

Subex Azure, a major player in the telecom fraud and revenue assurance market, has selected TRMG to deliver a customer satisfaction improvement programme. Working in collaboration with Subex Azure’s professional services team, TRMG will provide impartial external advice to the vendor’s clients regarding the scope and direction of their RA and fraud strategies. Speaking from his Bangalore headquarters, Sudeesh Yezhuvath, COO of Subex Azure, said, “I am expecting great things from this initiative.
